I'ts unreal how hard a few things are.

Potential villagers and yet I can not ask a person to leave. Whenever someone reaches the campsite, I must experience the most infuriating song and dance to get them to move in and I'm not even allowed to pick who I wanted to move out.

This, along with a lot of goofy little things, create a calm experience turn sour in such an unnecessary manner.

I truly HATED the long, tedious tutorial of NH. I understand they wanted it to feel as if you are developing a city on a remote island from nothing, but it had been such a repetitive slog to get through.

They could have condensed it into like the first 3 days of playing but spreading it out over two literal weeks was not enjoyable at all. The first few days were just walking around and picking weeds essentially since you couldn't even get Your Entire island or the principal buildings were under construction

Can we get some voices in this thread from those who really enjoyed the game? It is going to wind up being the best selling game in the switch at the end of the season and all the top comments are only"game is dull". I'd rather hear from people who really like Animal Crossing games and listen to the way they'd want to improve the series going forward.

I began playing a few weeks ago and I personally like the goal-oriented arrangement of the match. I feel like I can make progress developing my island while I play with and I enjoy knowing that I will be rewarded with new instruments and new buildings for doing simple tasks. I am also fond of that the Nookmiles achievement system, though at this point I am not quite certain what to spend them on besides for clothes.

We can start improving by making the villagers have more meaningful connections and conversations, they now feel like setpieces.
