I'm likely to disagree because in leagues, you're confined to specific areas which subsequently limits what material you have access to. Its not an specific copy of the game using the annoying things eliminated like in the event of league of legends and urf.
Its all about the consistent sense more than the end result. You pursue the feeling of achievement if you are playing osrs or league long term. And that atmosphere becomes eroded by theatres and urf. On the point that it feels rewarding to play with the most important game.
Well is not that sort of the point he is making? It is in a sense fracturing a small area of the community to people that prefer only leagues. Not saying it's going to kill the match but saying that you exclusively play leagues proves this point imo.It almost definitely increases the playerbase though as a whole. Both through enhanced twitch streams and only more people rejoining to play leagues and just end up staying

Can another trailblazer be able to be refreshing? Raids 3? Any other ideas?Idk why but I am not into leagues. Maybe it's because I only started playing again like 6 weeks ago, and got my character to solidly mid level. Having to replicate all the quests and things I have already gone through, even with the xp promotes and so forth, only feels like a chore.
I'm having a blast too. I've tried things I never could have otherwise (like a skiller) such as KQ and the TzHaar region. Went into Leagues with no strategy and I'm enjoying every bit of it! Even met some nice people along the way, which surprised me the most
Seconded. This is the best idea they have had since really very early"upgrades" (that are now main fundamentals of the game). Letting new gamers try out late-game content, experienced players test their game knowledge, making it time-limited. . .they pinpointed the arcade-style feel whilst keeping the game fully intact. Fucking love it especially within a covid winter. Kudos OS team.
